22岁来自深圳的音乐人/制作人，卡西恩 aka.蒜香公主，继前不久发布大热单曲“DO WHATEVER”之后，今日携首张个人专辑《蒜香公主GARLICA PRINCESS》回归。整张专辑融合了Pop、爵士、 R&B等多种风格，将她可爱又不羁的魅力具象化的展现了出来。她出色的音乐洞察能力使每一部作品都极具 “卡西恩“独有的个人特色：自信、开朗又不失标杆性。《I/We 我/我们》是围绕着卡西恩根据自身的生活经历创作的作品。这些作品既是写给她自己也是写给听众的。通过这个EP她想向大家展示她作为蒜香公主的身份以及她作为GenZ的代表之一想要传递的积极精神。同时她也是一个很感性的人。她也有不开心或者郁闷的时候，她也有伤心的时候。通过《哎 sigh》和《emo》卡西恩表达了自己的负面情绪以及在乌云过后的晴天她意识到的一些重要的哲理，从而创作了《aletter4u 给你们的一封信》。这是一封给她的听众的信，希望他们在生活中也可以意识到卡西恩在信里传递的一些信息。《love爱情》是围绕着卡西恩对爱情的经历和看法创作的一系列不同类型的love songs。这个系列包括了浪漫爱情、现实凄惨的爱情、畏惧式爱情、还有快乐的爱情。《take our time 慢慢来》是卡西恩被她在NYU的教授Dr. Skiba上课的内容启发而创作的。歌曲内容主要是围绕着建议人们在性生活方面应该放慢脚步，尊重自己的伴侣，不要急于求成地去为了come而come。《getaway逃！》则是一首听似清新的浪漫情歌实则是一首关于不安全感的“烂漫情歌”，在卡西恩想象的一个她的“理想世界”中爱情应该成为的样子。《我怕爱情 I FEAR LOVE》传递了卡西恩对爱情的畏惧和期待，这种矛盾的心理估计很多人都可以relate。《LOSER 你不行》则是卡西恩根据生活中看过的影视作品和社交媒体中看到不同的人分享的事物而受启发写的一首关于失败的爱情的歌曲。这几首组成了卡西恩对爱情的不同情况下的陈述。 A面（Side A）：《I/We 我/我们》《DO WHATEVER (想做就做)》 “我觉得太多人需要一些自信的鼓励。我想把我的故事讲给大家听，我想把我平常鼓励自己的一些话分享给大家。做你想做的！你是最棒的！” 《蒜香公主Garlica Princess》蒜香公主介绍并解释自己的称号：蒜香公主。为什么她叫蒜香公主？蒜香公主代表着什么？蒜的精神？ Garlicahhhh～《RUN FAST快跑！》快跑！卡西恩在以她自己的速度朝着她的目标前进。这是关于2020年的卡西恩的抱负的一首歌。 Yeahhhhhh～《哎 sigh》 18岁的卡西恩在那个夏天有很多情绪。她很迷茫，很浮躁。她提出了很多自己无法解答的问题和很多自己无法确定的假设。哎～《emo》 2020一次在地铁上卡西恩随便哼出了这首歌的主旋律。卡西恩把这段旋律记录了下来，回家就把旋律展开写成了这首歌，卡西恩的负面情绪应该大多都在这首歌里了吧。迷茫、失落、崩溃、困惑…… UGH～《aletter4u 给你们的一封信》卡西恩21岁的时遇到的一些人和事让她意识到了一些残忍的现实。但是没关系呀，这不就是成长中必须要遇到的事情吗？所以，你不是独自一人哦。我们都在一起成长，只是每个人遇到障碍的时间不同。放轻松，人生就是一场电影，享受每一分每一秒，这样当电影结束的时候，你才不会后悔错过了某些精彩片段而失落哦。 YEHHHHH～ B面（Side B）：《love爱情》《take our time 慢慢来》这首歌的灵感来自卡西恩上的Sexual Identities across Lifespan的课。有时候两个人并不需要故意地去为了达到高潮而进行肢体接触。放轻松～享受两个人的时光，感受互相的身体。让事情自然而然地发生，这才是最舒服的生活和与ta的相处方式呀。 Eeeeoooww～《我怕爱情 I FEAR LOVE》没有人不害怕却又向往爱情吧。卡西恩把她对爱情的向往和恐惧的矛盾心理写了下来。说是有“爱情的保险“，但其实事实真是如此吗？ Hmmmmm~ 《LOSER 你不行》卡西恩把现实中听到或看到的一些糟糕的爱情故事里的一些元素重新整理构成了一个她的版本的故事。她在这首歌里叙述了遇到渣男并且果断切段不健康的亲密关系的过程。女人狠起来照样狠，这次女人狠在点上了。Instead of 对这个渣男做些什么，她选择不浪费自己的宝贵时间直接和他断绝了关系。 Wow～《getaway逃！》表面上这首歌听上去像是一首非常浪漫可爱的歌曲。然而，当你仔细看每句歌词的以后，你会每句歌词在不经意间透露着在一段浪漫关系的不安全感。这首歌就是卡西恩对她在浪漫关系中不安全感的表现。表面上卡西恩在说“一起私奔吧！”实际上她其实是想要占有。天啊～ Followed by the success of her previous single “DO WHATEVER”, Cacien, aka. Garlica Princess, the 22-year-old singer/songwriter/music producer from Shenzhen, China, released her debut album “GARLICA PRINCESS”in April 2022. In the album, she showcased her cute, quirky, and one-of-a-kind personality by blending Pop, Jazz, R&B, and many other music styles in her own artistry. Her insightful musical senses have made all her work full of “Cacien”charisma: always confident, optimistic and ever-advancing. “I/We” is a work created by Cacien, based on her own life experiences. It was made both for herself and the audience. With this EP she hopes to show everyone her identity as the “Garlica Princess” and the positive spirit she wants to convey as one of the representatives of GenZ. She is also a sentimental person with ups and downs. Through “sigh” and “emo” Cacien expressed her negative emotions and some important life lessons she has learned along the way. “aletter4u” is a letter to her listeners, hoping that her messages find them well. “love” is a series of different types of love songs created around Cacien's experiences and views on love. The series includes romantic love, miserable love, fearful love, and happy love. “take our time” was inspired by the lesson she took at NYU, by professor Dr. Skiba. The song revolves around suggesting that people should slow down when it comes to sex, respect their partners instead of rushing things. “getaway” is a romantic love song that sounds refreshing and cute, but at the same time it raises a serious topic about insecurities. It depicts an ideal kind of love in Cacien's imagination. “I FEAR LOVE” conveys a contradiction with both her fears and expectations for love that many people can relate to. “LOSER” is a song about a failed romance, which was inspired by what she has seen in life and on social media. These tracks together form Cacien's own understanding of love in different situations. Side A: "I/We" DO WHATEVER! "I think people need a little confidence boost. I wanna share my story with them, and send them some motivations. Do whatever you want! You are the best!” - Cacien Garlica Princess Cacien introduces her title - “Garlica Princess”. Why is she called “Garlica Princess”? What does “Garlica Princess” represent? Is it the spirit of garlic? RUN FAST! Run fast! Cacien is running towards her goal at her own pace. This is a song about her ambitions in 2020. sigh Cacien experienced a lot of negative emotions at the summer of 18. She felt lost and anxious most of the time. It is a song about questions she does not have answers for and assumptions she couldn't be sure of. emo In 2020, Cacien casually hummed the main melody of this song on the subway once. She wrote it down quickly and expanded it into a song as soon as she got home that day. Most of the negative emotions that she had were included in this song. Confused, lost, break downs, etc... aletter4u Cacien's 21-year-old encounters have hit her hard and made her realize some harsh truths in life. But it’s okay because isn't this something everyone would face while growing up? So, you are not alone. We've all grown up together, and it's just that we hit different obstacles. Take it easy, life is a movie, enjoy every minute and every second, so that when the movie is over, you won't regret missing any highlights. Side B: "love" take our time This song is inspired by a course that Cacien took last semester called "Sexual Identities across Lifespan” instructed by Dr. Skiba. Sometimes it is the best to enjoy each other's body rather than having sex. Take everything slow, and let your relationship unfold itself. Enjoy and appreciate every moment you spend with each other. I FEAR LOVE Everyone is longing for love but also afraid of it. Cacien wrote down the contradiction between her need for love and her fears. It is said that there is "love insurance", but is it true? LOSER Cacien rearranges elements from some of the bad love stories she heard or saw in real life into her own version of the story. In this song, she depicted the process of meeting a fuckboy and decisively cutting off this unhealthy relationship. Women can be ruthless, too. Instead of doing something with this person, she chose to walk away immediately without wasting her precious time. getaway! This song sounds very romantic and lovely on the surface. However, you will also sense some insecurities if you read the lyrics carefully. The song is about Cacien’s insecurities in a romantic relationship. She says "Let's run away together!" While in fact, she is also struggling with her possessiveness.
