2018年4月20日，瑞典传奇音乐人Avicii（本名：Tim Bergling ）不幸去世。那时，他即将完成新专辑的创作，遗留下一些快完成的歌曲及相关的笔记、邮件和短信。 如今，在这张未完成的专辑中，与Tim合作过的词曲作者们联合一起，忠于Tim的想法，继续将这部作品完成并尽可能接近他本人的音乐性及风格。 自Tim去世后，他的家人决定不将他的音乐封锁在家里，而是希望将这些作品分享给热爱他的全球歌迷。 新单曲“SOS“是Tim遗留新专辑中的首支单曲，也是他逝世前最后定稿的曲目之一，于4月11日发行，由他的长期合作伙伴，来自巴拿马裔美国音乐家Aloe Blacc献唱。Avicii（Tim Bergling）遗留下来的新专辑《TIM》将于6月6日发行。 此外，Avicii新专辑的净收入将捐给非盈利组织蒂姆·伯格林基金会(Tim Bergling Foundation)，该基金会的宗旨之一包括对精神疾病及自杀倾向的预防。
